PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 IT DOESN’T REALLY MATTER

You’re worry when he doesn’t call.
You worry that you’ve said it all.
You worry if you talk at all.
But it doesn’t really matter.

You try to see behind those eyes,
And think that he is telling lies,
Or telling all the other guys,
But it doesn’t really matter.

It’s your life that you’re livin’.
It’s your heart that you’re givin’.
You’re the one that you’re forgivin’.
It doesn’t really matter.

So he doesn’t love you anymore,
And you think that you should feel sore,
And it might feel really good to score,
But it doesn’t really matter.

You think that you have let him down;
You think you act too much the clown;
But he don’t like to see you frown;
It doesn’t really matter.

After all is said and done,
Life just goes on living.
Today is here.  The past is gone,
So it doesn’t really matter.
